Introduction

Hummico Designs is a small, sister-owned business based in Houston, Texas. We create herbal tea gift boxes and quiet luxuries, and this website is where you can get to know us, read our journal, and find our products. This policy explains the limited information we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We've tried to keep it warm and readable rather than dense and legalistic — because that's how we'd want it explained to us.

We only collect what you choose to share, plus the basic technical data any website receives.

Contact form

When you send us a message through our contact page, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write, so we can reply to you.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you occasional updates and little rituals. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, our host may automatically record standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request — to keep the site secure and running reliably. This is not used to identify or track you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your questions, custom-order enquiries, and messages.
• To send our newsletter, but only if you've subscribed.
• To keep the website secure, stable, and working as it should.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, full stop.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a few trusted services to run the site. Each only receives the information needed for its specific job:

• Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox at [email protected].
• Alura — handles our newsletter sign-ups. (We may move to a different newsletter provider in future; if we do, we'll update this policy.)
• Cloudflare Pages — hosts the website and serves it quickly and securely around the world.
• Google Sheets — powers the small announcement banner at the top of the site. We simply read banner text from a published sheet; no visitor information is ever sent to it.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not currently use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. There is no Google Analytics and there are no tracking scripts on this site. Standard hosting infrastructure may log basic technical data for security and reliability, which is automatically deleted on a rolling basis.

Data Retention

We keep contact-form messages and newsletter email addresses only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for — replying to you, or sending the newsletter you asked for. You can ask us to remove your details, or unsubscribe, at any time and we'll take care of it.

Your Rights

You can always:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter, any time.

Children's Privacy

This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please get in touch and we'll remove it.
